A one day practical training workshop to introduce the concepts of variation reduction and statistical process control for process improvement.
Why attend
Although many people are familiar with SPC and terms such as Cp and Cpk, they often don’t fully understand their proper use and therefore struggle to relate them to process performance or product quality.
The course aims to provide a good basic understanding of variation reduction and statistical process control methods and how to apply it in the real world.

- The importance of data
- Measuring and visualising process performance
- Statistical Process Control and how to use it effectively
- Process Capability and what it means in the real world
- The importance and effect of measurement system variation
Who should attend
The course is ideal for people wishing to learn about the basic principles and tools used for process improvement without getting too bogged down in the statistics. Typically, this might include process managers, engineers and shop floor personnel.

About the Trainer
Ben Allister has a strong background in continuous improvement engineering and has been a practicing Six Sigma Blackbelt for 13 years. He has industrial experience in aerospace, automotive and electronics and currently is the managing director of Infodream Ltd.
